I had two papers due today for Sociology 3, but I managed to get an extension till Wednesday. That made me feel better. It's a shame I probably won't start till Tuesday night...

Dan Choi graciously let me borrow his crutches, so now I'm not completely immobile. He came over last night and examined my ankle. He told me that the injury might be worse than I had originally thought. Yipee... I'm gonna get an X-ray and maybe find an acupuncturist.

Looking back on my injury, I can't help but feel like I deserved it. I'm an obnoxious person, and before retreat even started, I took a few jabs at Billy Ku because he was on crutches. Man, what goes around really does come around... Billy had a good laugh when I told him that I, too, had sprained my ankle. Even so, Billy's been pretty good, telling me what to do and checking up on me...

I really don't like feeling this helpless because I don't like asking for help. But at retreat, I couldn't get around without the help. Heh... I got piggy-back-rides from a good handful of people. I really appreciated and enjoyed all the rides...

Yeah... There's probably a big lesson behind all of this... I should probably find out what that is, huh?
